Unite to meet challenges: Omar Abdullah to workers

National Conference vice-president, Omar Abdullah, Wednesday asked his party workers to unite in order to meet the challenges the state is facing.

Exhorting the workers to increase their engagement with thepublic, Abdullah said, “The need of the hour calls for increasing interactionwith the public. In a democratic setup, it is the people that have to make thefinal choice.”

   

On the occasion, senior Congress leader Ali Asgar Khan fromKarnah joined National Conference with his scores of supporters and workers.

Welcoming the new entrant, the party vice-president said,”Posterity will applaud the considerate step of Asgar sahib. He has chosen tostrengthen the efforts towards protecting the special identity of the state.”

Speaking on the occasion, the new joiner Khan vowed to makeNational Conference stronger.

NC’s general secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar, provincialpresident Nasir Aslam Wani, political advisor Tanvir Sadiq and Kafeel ur Rehmanwere also present on the occasion.
