Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister and working president of National Conference Omar Abdullah Sunday lambasted the PDP-BJP coalition government for "forcing" J&K Bank to adopt Kashmir Golf Club.
Omar, however, advised the present dispensation to use the money for equipment in rural hospitals.
"Forcing J&K bank to adopt Kashmir Golf Club under CSR is hardly socially responsible. Use the money to place equipment in rural hospitals," Omar wrote on micro-blogging website Twitter.
"Sponsor sports equipment is rural schools. Why golf greens?" Omar's another tweet said.
"As it is you just forced the bank to spend 100s of 1000s on Mufti Sb's fantasy amusement park in Pahalgam, an eye sore to say the least."
