Over two dozen people were injured in clashes with government forces in Shopian district in south Kashmir on Thursday, reports said.
They said that ten injured persons were shifted to PHC Pinjora for treatment.
A witness said that several others were being treated in various health centres in the district.
Clashes erupted in Bongam and Bonbazar areas of the district after forces intercepted a pro-freedom rally heading towards the Shopian town.
They used tear-smoke canisters and fired pellets to disperse the protesters, including men, women and children.
