Vigilance Awareness Week | Police holds ‘Pledge taking Ceremonies’

Srinagar, Oct 27: Police today facilitated pledge taking ceremonies at all the police establishments across the Kashmir Zone on the occasion of ‘Vigilance Awareness Week’.

A police spokesman said the week is being observed and pledges taken to eradicate the corruption and to oppose all forms of corruption.

The pledge functions were held simultaneously at all the Kashmir based District Police headquarters and Police establishments while following due Covid-19 protocols and other guidelines. During the pledge functions, pledge was administrated to all the officers and officials by the respective District SSPs and concerned officers.

During the ceremonies, all the officers/jawans pledged to work with zeal in maintaining highest standards of integrity, transparency and good governance besides, eradicate corruption and oppose all forms of corruption. Moreover, it was also pledged neither to offer nor to accept bribe, rather foster a culture of honesty and integrity, the spokesman said.
