Awantipora, Mar 16: The National Service Scheme (NSS), Islamic University of Science & Technology, organised a voter awareness programme at the campus.
The programme themed Mera Pehla Vote – Desh Ke Liye was conducted as per the guidelines from Ministry of Education, Govt of India.
Coordinated by the NSS IUST unit, the programme was aimed to educate students about democratic participation. Programme Coordinator NSS IUST, Dr Tariq Ahmad Ganaie, emphasised the significance of voting as both a right and a duty, empowering citizens to shape the nation’s future. The event saw participation from student volunteers and staff members who engaged in discussions and activities to promote voter awareness and education.
