Residents of Ningli area of Sopore town in Baramulla district on Thursday morning staged a protest demonstration against the PHE department for failing to provide adequate water supply to the residents of the area.
Scores of people including women blocked Sopore-Tarzoo road to register their protest against PHE department.
Raising slogans against PHE department for failing to provide regular water supply and for ignoring the sufferings of people. They said people of the area are facing water shortage for past one week.
The protesting residents said that they will continue the protest if their demands will not be addressed at the earliest.
