Will remove bottlenecks in education, employment sectors: NC

National Conference Sunday stated that the party represents the aspirations of the youth of the state, saying the need of the hour calls for enhancing their capabilities.

“It is imperative for the people at the helm to affairs tofeel the pulse of the youth in the rapidly evolving circumstances. It is forthe government to remove bottle necks faced by the youth in meeting theireducation and employment aspirations,” NC’s provincial spokesperson, Imran NabiDar, said while addressing a daylong youth convention here at Town Hall.

   

He claimed that stress, insecurity and chocking of safespaces have pushed the youth towards drug abuse. “Today, our youth isundergoing enormous fear. They are experiencing frequent bouts of depression,often as a result of unemployment. As a result, many of them are turning todrugs in a bid to mitigate themselves from discomfort.”

Dar stated that once NC comes to power, it will speed up theeradication of drugs and substance use from the state. “It is the youth thathas the power to transform the state. We will sincerely give a helping hand tothem. We will remove bottlenecks in education and employment sectors,” he said.

Meanwhile, party’s state secretary, Sakina Itoo, Sunday saidthe people of Kashmir have already shown Peoples Democratic Party its place for”deceiving them on the promises it made during 2014 elections”.

Itoo said that National conference is the only party thatboasts a panacea for the state’s problems. “Once in power, we will make amendsto the wrongs committed by the PDP-BJP coalition. We will embalm the people whosuffered at their hands,” she said.
