The government Tuesday said the winter secretariat in Srinagar will operate from the second floor of the civil secretariat.
The general administration department, vide government order number 1589-GAD of 2018 dated October 24, 2018, established a winter secretariat in Srinagar to address the grievances of Kashmir province and monitor development projects.
“The winter secretariat will operate from the 2nd floor of the civil secretariat and would be headed by Aijaz Ahmad Bhat, special secretary to the government, along with other gazetted and non-gazetted staff,” an official spokesman said.

“Administrative secretaries can avail the facilities available at the winter secretariat for reviewing development programmes/schemes or addressing public grievances as may be received through the winter secretariat,” the spokesman said.
