A 50-year-old woman was critically injured in a road mishap on the Srinagar Leh highway at Satreena in Kangan area of Ganderbal district on Friday.
A police official said an Alto car bearing registration no JKO2AX-1149, while traveling from Sonamarg to Srinagar, hit Haseena Begum, wife of Ghulam Nabi Wani of Cherwan Kangan, who was critically injured.
She was brought to SDH Kangan and later referred to Bone & Joint Hospital Srinagar for further treatment. Police have taken cognisance of the case.
