Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik today paid rich tributes to Sajjad Ahmad Keno, saying “he was one of pioneers of ongoing struggle for freedom.”
“Martyrs like Sajjad Keno are our real heroes and their sacrifices will never be forgotten. Shaheed Keno was a humble person, dedicated warrior, prolific leader and a brilliant human being. He was one of the faces of Kashmiri resistance who till his last breath stood upright for the cause of freedom and sacrificed his life while striving for it. The sacrifices of heroes like Martyr Sajad Ahmad Kenoo can never be forgotten and today when we remember his sacrifices and struggle, we pledge to take his mission forward with passion and zeal,” a spokesman of the JKLF, in a statement today, quoted Yasin Malik as having said while addressing a memorial meeting held to recall slain Keno’s sacrifices.
Meanwhile, Yasin Malik expressed grief over the demise of sister of APHC leader Ghulam Nabi Sumji. He also condoled the demise of Abdul Aziz Ganaie of Mazhama, Beerwah. who breathed his last yesterday. The deceased was the father of slain youth Abdul Jabbar alias Amjad Khan.
Meanwhile, JKLF has also expressed condolences at the sad demise of sister of slain resistance leader Sheikh Abdul Aziz.
