Youth dies due to blast while refilling fire extinguisher in Anantnag

He was critically injured in the blast and was shifted to Government Medical College where he succumbed to his injuries.

Srinagar, Aug 24: A 28-year-old shopkeeper was killed in a blast while refilling a fire extinguisher at his shop near Ganjiwara in Anantnag town in the south Kashmir district.

Hazik Wani son of Abdul Rahman Wani of Bidder Kokernag was critically injured in the blast and was shifted to Government Medical College where he succumbed to his injuries, news agency GNS reported.

A police officer confirmed the incident to GNS and said that a case has been registered in this regard.
