Ganderbal, Aug 22: A 23-year old youth drowned in nallah Sindh in Kangan area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Tuesday afternoon.
A police official said that the youth identified as Zakir Ahmed Thekrey drowned in nallah Sindh near Mammar area. Soon after the incident, police along with local volunteers started a rescue operation to retrieve the youth.
