Border Security Force soldiers fired into a group of youths at Nadihal in Rafiabad area of Baramulla district on Monday, injuring a youth, UbaidManzoor of Nadihal. Ubaid received a bullet in thigh and was shifted to the SMHS Hospital in Srinagar for treatment.
“It has been found that a cavalcade of Border Security Force was attacked by stone pelters and they fired few rounds,” said Rakesh Kumar, deputy inspector general CRPF (north Kashmir).
A complete shutdown was observed in Baramulla district in response to the Joint Resistance Leaders call.
