The Divisional Commissioner Ladakh Saugat Biswas Saturday inspected Community Health Centre (CHC) Sankoo and took stock of healthcare facilities available to patients there. He went round various section of the health centre and inquired from the officers about overall functioning.
While appreciating Block Medical Officer (BMO) Sankoo,doctors and paramedical staff for provision of satisfactory healthcare servicesand better hygienic conditions in the health centre the Divisional Commissionerexhorted upon them to continue to work with the same enthusiasm and commitmentso that the patients at large are benefitted.
Earlier, the Divisional Commissioner visited the satellitecampus of Kashmir University and Jawahar Navodaya Vidayalaya (JNV) Kargil andtook first hand appraisal of the functioning of these educational institutions,in terms of roll of students, availability of staff and infrastructuralrequirements and other related aspects.
