Ladakh witnessed rapid development during PM Modi led govt: Tarun Chugh

Kargil, May 7: The BJP’s National General Secretary Tarun Chugh on Tuesday said that the Union Territory of Ladakh witnessed a rapid pace of development during the BJP government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Chug is on a visit to Ladakh in view of the parliamentary elections. Today the senior BJP leader visited Kargil district. Senior BJP leaders from Kargil including Haji Anayat Ali, Ali Chandan and others accompanied the party National General Secretary. Tarun Chugh held a meeting with party leaders in Kargil to strategise the party’s poll campaign for BJP’s Lok Sabha candidate Tashi Gyalson.

   

Talking to media persons, Tarun chug said that there is an atmosphere of development in whole Ladakh and several projects got sanctioned from the Prime Minister Narendra Modi led government for Ladakh. He stated that several major developmental projects have been started and completed in Ladakh including in Leh and Kargil districts. He enumerated various development works initiated in the Ladakh by the BJP government and said, “Under the able guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Ladakh is shaping new paradigms of development. Work on Zojila Tunnel, road infrastructure, and hospitals have been started.”

Lauding the initiatives taken by the Narendra Modi Government in enhancing, upgrading and modernising the air connectivity in the Union Territory of Ladakh, BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh said that the BJP is committed to construct an Airport in Kargil for promoting the tourism sector. He said the people are benefitting from the welfare schemes initiated by the Prime Minister and want continuity in these for progress and prosperity of the region. He hoped the people of Kargil will continue their support to the BJP and will give a huge mandate to the party in the Lok Sabha elections to accelerate the development process in Kargil.
