Muharram processions to mark martyrdom of Harzat-e-Abass (AS ) were taken out in Kargil, Sankoo TSG Block and Suru Valley on Wednesday.
Procession organised by Imam Khomenie Memoral Trust Kargil and Islamiya School Kargil as per the history of Karbala incident, Hazrat Abbas (AS) son of Hazrat Ali was also part of the caravan of 72 associates of Imam Hussain (AS) who were martyred at Karbala.
As the enemy forces had snapped food and water supply, Hazrat Abbas ventured out to bring water from nearby canal known as Furaat. However, before he could deliver the water to the thirsty children and women in the camp, he was martyred by the enemy forces.
Meanwhile ,the mourning procession was also taken out organised at Sankoo. it was organized by Markaz-e- Tabligat Imam Raza Sankoo and Anjuman Sahib Zaman Sankoo.
Similarly a congregational processions were also organised by Maktab-e-Imam Sahib Zaman educational centre Lankerchey, Maktab-e-Hyderiya Lankerchey.
Muharram procession were also taken out at GM pore and its adjacent areas.
MUHARRAM PROCESSIONS IN KARGIL
As per age old tradition of Muharam processions were taken out in Kargil and other adjoining areas.
The processions were taken out under the banner of Anjuman Jamiyat Ullama Asna Ashirya Kargil, passing through various routes conclude at the premises of Hozia Ilmiya Kargil.
President Anjuman Jamiyat Ullama Isna Ashriya Kargil Hujjatul Islam Wal Muslameen Sheikh Nazir Mehdi Muhammadi conducted the main Majalis and threw light on the sacrifices and life of Hazarat Abass Almadar.
