Srinagar-Leh highway was opened for traffic on Thursday.
The highway was closed yesterday following a landslide along Gagangeer-Sonamarg road stretch.
Officials said traffic was resumed on the highway within 24 hours.
“Vehicular movement was restored at around 7:30 AM today. First stranded yatra vehicles were allowed to move from Baltal towards Srinagar,” said a traffic official.
