Rajouri, Dec 6: Security forces in Rajouri busted a terror module by arresting two terror associates and recovering arms and ammunition from their possession.
This has been stated in a statement issued through Jammu based Defence Spokesperson Lt Col Suneel Bartwal.
“A relentless intelligence based joint operation was launched by Indian Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police in Budhal area on December 6,” said spokesperson. He added that during this operation, two hardcore terror associates have been apprehended. The army spokesperson further informed that arms and ammunition alongwith incriminating material has been recovered from the arrested terror associates. The recovery included a pistol, two pistol magazines, 28 rounds, two hand grenades and other war like stores.
Police sources said that security forces were following several leads after November 17 encounter at Behrote Gali in Budhal in which one terrorist was killed by forces. During investigation while developing the leads, forces developed some more leads by which forces succeeded in zero-in on the two terror associates and recovered arms, ammunition and incriminating material from their possession.
