Gelatin stick found in J&K’s Rajouri; destroyed

Rajouri, April 17: An explosive material was recovered by security forces and destroyed using controlled mechanism by the bomb disposal squad on Wednesday in Rajouri, official said.

During the routine patrol in Swari village of Rajouri, the patrolling team spotted a suspicious material lying alongside a rock, following which the area was cordoned off, officials said.

   

“The Bomb Disposal Squad was called at the spot and the suspicious material was examined which was founded to be a Gelatin Stick,” the official sources said.

They added that the recovered material was later destroyed through a controlled mechanism by Bomb Disposal Squad on Wednesday evening.
