Kupwara, May 8: Peoples Conference (PC) Chairman, Sajad Gani Lone, Wednesday reiterated that people in Kashmir have high expectations from his party.
“A large number of people are getting associated with Peoples Conference with each passing day, may Almighty bestow us the privilege of living up to the expectations of general public,” Lone was talking to media after welcoming former councilor from Baramulla Nighat into the party.
While taking a dig at National Conference (NC) Omar Abdullah, he said that he will bring real tourism to north Kashmir as compared to that person who brings even water for himself when ever he visits north Kashmir.
“Reiterating that Omar Abdullah should come up with proof after he labelled allegations against me that couple of weeks ago in Kupwara, I have said that I am a BJP man,” he said. Lone said that people should make a difference by casting vote in his favour on May 20. “I am one among the common people unlike others who have taken birth in AC rooms,” he added.
