PM Modi condemns Moscow terrorist attack, expresses solidarity with Russia

New Delhi, March 23: Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his strong condemnation of the terrorist attack in Moscow, which resulted in the deaths of 60 civilians, including women and children, with more than 100 others injured.

The attack took place at a crowded concert venue on the outskirts of Moscow, specifically at Crocus City Hall, as reported by Russian intelligence. The assailants’ violent incursion led to a significant loss of life and numerous injuries.

   

Prime Minister Modi took to the social platform “X” to share his message of solidarity, stating, “We strongly condemn the heinous terrorist attack in Moscow. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of the victims. India stands in solidarity with the government and the people of the Russian Federation in this hour of grief.”

The Islamic State (ISIS), a designated terrorist organization, claimed responsibility for the devastating attack through its affiliated channels, marking a deliberate act of violence that has drawn international condemnation and concern.
