Ensure uninterrupted electricity during Ramadhan
People from different areas of Rajouri have called for uninterrupted power supply during Sehri and Iftar times in the ongoing holy month of Ramadhan.
These people said that the scenario of power has improved to some extent but some more scope is still there.
“We appeal administration to ensure smooth power supply especially no curtailment during Sehri and Iftar times,” said Mohammad Basharat and others of Rajouri.
Issue new road permits
People of different areas in Rajouri district have appealed motor vehicle department to issue new road permits for passenger vehicles on the identified routes with very less transport.
These people said that with the expansion of road network in the district, requirement of passenger vehicles is also rising and route permit is a basic requirement for any person to purchase a new passenger vehicle.
These people further said that in order to meet out this requirement the motor vehicles department should ensure that the new route permits are issued at the earliest so that the aspirants can purchase passenger vehicles for running on various routes.
Some of these routes include Dassal Seeran, Mehari, Namblan, Tundi Trar, Katarmal, Rajdhani, Panihad.
Include Rajouri’s Bhairo Jhanki in national tourism map
The members of Bhairo committee in Rajouri have appealed Jammu and Kashmir Government as well as Government of India to put this procession for national tourism map.
The members of the committee said that the Bhairo Janki organised in Rajouri is first of its kind and is not organised anywhere in the country.
Raja Rattan, a member of committee said that the procession is not only a cultural one but is also associated with religious feelings where as it is also a living example of religious harmony as people from all walks of life take part in it.
He said that presently people from across the Jammu and Kashmir come to Rajouri to have a glimpse of this procession and government now should put this event on national tourism map.
