New Delhi, Apr 29: The Supreme Court is likely to hear on May 1 reconsideration petition concerning the revocation of Article 370, which previously granted special status to the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir.
The apex court in December last year had upheld the abrogation of Article 370 in J&K constitutionally valid. The top court had directed the Election Commission to hold elections in Kashmir by 30 Sept 2024.
Awami National Conference, Jammu and Kashmir People’s Democratic Party, Muzaffar Iqbal Khan, Jammu and Kashmir High Court Bar Association and others have filed the review petitions before the apex court.
