A suspicious bag found near mini secretariat in Mendhar tehsil of J&K’s Poonch district created panic in the area on Saturday.
Official sources told news agency GNS that at around 0800 hours, one suspicious bag was found near mini secretariat, Mendhar.
“The bag had logo of two weapons crossed with each other and words written below them as the ‘Fakhr-E Kashmir’,” the official said.
A police team headed by Station House Officer (SHO) reached the spot and checked the bag.
“They recovered a few clothes, medicines for diabetes, one blood pressure electronic machine, walnut (20 gram) and two packets Henna (Mehandi) from it,” the official said.
SHO Mendhar Manzoor Kohli confirmed about the incident to the news agency GNS and said an investigation is being conducted to trace its owner.
