Srinagar, Dec 9: As many as 647 Hajj pilgrims from Jammu and Kashmir left here today for Jeddah in Saudi Arabia on board three special flights of Indian.
 The Hajj pilgrims comprised 237 women. 
 About 10,000 pilgrims from Jammu and Kashmir will perform the Hajj this year.
 State Haj Committee Executive Officer Abdul Rashid Mir said due to the intervention of Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad, additional flights have been arranged for airlifting the stranded Haj pilgrims of Jammu and Kashmir.
