Jammu: The Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party chairman, Prof Bhim Singh today offered mandate to the former JK Pradesh Congress Committee chief Ghulam Rasool Kar and Bilal Lodhi to contest in Valley.
While addressing a news conference, the party chairman announced an election campaign committee to be headed by him and said the members shall not contest the polls.
He said the party activists were assaulted and prohibited from addressing a public meeting allegedly by the police in Surankote few days back. "The party is contesting all the three seats in the Poonch district and this is for the first time a woman, Tabassum Choudhary is contesting election," Prof Bhim said.
He accused the administration for allegedly discriminating with the party candidates by denying them security.
