Jammu, Nov 9: Muhammad Dilawar Mir Thursday inaugurated website of Youth Hostel Association of India (YHAI) at Jammu. The www.jkyhai.org website would provide upto date details of activities and programmes of YHAI besides other information relating to youth activities.
 Present on the occasion were President YHAI Chairman JK Chapter M S Pandit, Member of PSC Nissar Ahmed, Dr H. L. Goswani and Roop Lal Bharti, Aman Rathore, S.P.Verma, K.R. Gandotra and others.
 Speaking on the occasion Minister for Tourism Muhammad Dilawar Mir lauded the role of YHAI for providing hostel and training facilities to youth across the country. He said the Association provides hostel facilities to youth on nominal charges and provides them opportunity to share experience with one another and understand diverse cultural ethos of the country. He said the network of 4200 hostels and 80 affiliated Associations play significant role to nurture youth.
 Chairman PSC and President YHAI, JK Chapter M. S. Pandit briefed the audience about aims and objectives of Association and called for strengthening the YHAI movement in the state for overall human resources development and welfare of young generation.
 Dr. T.Singh and A. Sharma gave detailed account of the website and explained its purposefulness.
