Srinagar: Barrister Abdul Majid Tramboo of UK based JKLF (R) has strongly condemned the arrest pro-freedom leaders in Kashmir, saying such moves were not going to stop Kashmiris from struggling for freedom.
He condemned the arrest of Saleem Nanaji, Farooq Ahmad Dar alias Bitta Karate and other Hurriyat leaders. "Such tactics by India won't crush the freedom struggle in Kashmir," he said, adding the arrested leaders should be released forthwith.
The spokesman said the "language of gun and harassment" won't help in the restoration of peace in Jammu and Kashmir. "India always came in the way of resolving the Kashmir issue while Pakistan always came forward to resolve it," he added.
