Srinagar: Calling for maintaining close synergy among the police officers of various wings of the police organization, Director General of Police (DGP), Kuldeep Khoda said that sharing of each others' experiences by police officers was key for attaining excellence in policing and delivery of better services to the people.
 Addressing the maiden police durbar of Commandants and Deputy Commandants of IRP and Armed Police of North Kashmir as well as the trainees at Subsidiary Police Training Centre, Sheeri, in Varmul today, the DGP said police is the protector of the lives and property of the citizens for which they have to take every care and responsibility so that people feel that police is their guardian and rescuer.
 Earlier, the IGP Armed, Dilbagh Singh gave a detailed resume of the activities of the training center where presently, 1261 trainees are undergoing training.
