This refers to the programme 'who jo lapatah hain' conducted by BBC's Urdu Service I appreciate the courage, skill and clear presentation of the programme by the anchor, Nayeema Ahmad Mehjoor. She deserves admiration for the same. Nayeema Ahmad Mehjoor is known for her broadcasting skills but this time she has done a great job by highlighting the plight of those families whose dears have disappeared.
In the programme Parvaiz Imroz was right in saying that so-called mainstream politicians or government do not know what the ground realities are. And if anytime they come to know they can't do anything because they themselves depend on forces for their security so they can't afford to go against them. It is disappointing on part of Col. Mathur who said militants also roam in uniforms and soldiers go out in their uniform. He should have been asked that his men (soldiers) also roam in civil dresses when they have to perform a job which in a way they do not want to attribute to themselves. One more point which is to be mentioned is about unknown gunmen, but when these unknown gunmen get known is the million dollar question.
