This is in response to Dr. Wasim's article "Is agitation the only solution". The article has been written against the people who support agitations. He has made certain remarks about the government jobs, orphans, daily wagers and their bread and butter etc. I would suggest the writer to study the History of Great Revolutions. One case is that of the Islamic Revolution of Iran. For four consecutive years, those people sacrificed their lives, their wealth, their bread and butter, their daily wages, economy and infrastructure. Today, we see Iran as one of the most developed nations. Present generation of theirs is praising and glorifying their martyrs and their ancestors who took Iran out of the misery into a new light. Their present generation is living in a very clean and peaceful environment and their economy is booming and their daily wagers are happy. And what has happened to us? We are concerned about our wealth but we are forgetting that we have been living as slaves for the last 600 years. Dependence has become our destiny and we cannot be the masters of our own self.
