Islamabad, Nov 9: The Kokernag town is being developed as the main tourist attraction as it has number of areas, which can be developed as tourist resorts, said the minister for Education, Peerzada Muhammad Sayeed, while laying the foundation stone of Hill View Park at Bidder.
 He said the Kokernag had unique feature of creating a tourist circuit joining the valley with Kishtwar and untouched areas like Mavar, Sinthan and Margen Top.
 The park has an area of 240 kanals, which is being developed on the pattern of Botanical garden.
 He said the second phase of the project shall have skiing and skating facilities, recreational park for children, a convention hall, hutments, walkways and water bodies for which a project to the tune of Rs 5 crore have been formulated for approval to the Union Ministry of Tourism.
 The minister also laid foundation stone of the bridge over the Nallah passing through villages Bidder thus joining the areas of Naroo and Danodalow with the Kokernag town.
