Dear Editor
This refers to the Indian leadership who so unabashedly go to the United Nations and throw at the world community statements like "we are committed to resolve the Kashmir dispute". So what is so new about what Indian Premier Manmohan Singh said at UNGA at New York? Making this cursory reference to the most pressing issue at present doesn't come at a cost. This sort of "commitment" has been there for so long…sixty years and counting…so what? To turn the economic state of affairs around, Manmohan Singh had the 'will' to do so and that is what the world will remember him for. Leadership comes and goes. What stands there etched on the pages of history is the will to resolve issues. That is what is missing from today's leadership, be it of our own Kashmir, India or that of Pakistan.
