This refers to the scholarship scheme implemented by the Ministry of Human Resources Development of India. As per the notification from MHRD, 5000 scholarships were provided to J&K Students, in which 4500 are for general degree courses, 250 for engineering course and rest for medical courses. More the 3000 students applied for engineering courses in several colleges through the college agents sent to valley for admission application and scholarship procedure. If only 250 seats are available for engineering courses having 100% scholarship, then why are they still accepting admission applications of students? The concerned authorities should take note.
