About3750 engineering students have been selected for jobs by more than 240 MNC in2018 from Chandigarh University (CU) during various campus recruitment camps, aspokesperson of the university said.
“ChandigarhUniversity has established new benchmarks in campus placements for engineeringstudents in placement session 2018-19 as there was a jump of 30% in number ofcompanies thronging campus for recruitments” said Dr RS Bawa, vice-chancellorof Chandigarh University, according the spokesperson.
Big names such asMicrosoft, Amazon, IBM, Hewlett Packard, SAP Labs, Samsung, L&T recruitedengineering students while a jump of 70% was witnessed in number of offersgiven this year, he added.
A record number of3750 engineering students were selected during the campus placements in whichmore than 240 multinational companies participated.
