BGSBU organises lecture on entrepreneurship

Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU) on Thursday organised an entrepreneurship lecture under the aegis of TEQIP-III programme to promote Industry-Institute interaction.

Mohammad Tabish, CEO, Aqua Bridge, UAE delivered the keynote lecture. Vice Chancellor of the university, JavedMusarrat in conveyed hisgratitude to Mohammad Tabish for visiting the university and interacting withthe students, a spokesperson of BGSBU said. 

   

Dean academic affairs and coordinator TEQIP III Iqbal Parwezsaid that there is need for bridging gap between industry and academia. He saidthat BGSBU strongly believes in building a firm foundation for corporateinterface through intense industry connects and practices.

“We are persistently in touch with the leading corporategroups and work closely towards analysing the industry expectations andrequirements,” he said while emphasising on the promotion of entrepreneurshipculture among the budding students to become self-reliant.

Mohammad Tabish made an exhaustive deliberation on the topic’The making of an entrepreneur- Empowering the promising college graduates tobusiness owners’.

He shared his own story of becoming an entrepreneur with theaudience. He stressed on the importance of scaling up from the idea inceptionto business establishment. He captured the attention of the audience by showingthe technical units of the aqua industry in UAE through his presentation. Hespelled out the key parameters required for being an entrepreneur and stressedon the importance of Industry-Academia collaboration.
