BSNL J&K Circle on Friday launched high speed internet service ‘Bharat Fibre’ FTTH in Pulwama town.
“Customers can make use of various high speed unlimited internet plans with unlimited voice calling,” a spokesperson of the BSNL said here.
The service was launched by Chief General Manager BSNL, Jammu and Kashmir, Rana Ashok Kumar Singh, in presence of GMTD SRINAGAR, Zafar Iqbal and authorised BSNL Channel Partner Mir Nazir, MEERCELL Commn, Pulwama.
Speaking on this occasion Rana informed that the service has been launched under unique business partnership with the channel partner MEERCELL Commn on revenue sharing basis. The state of the art equipment OLTE has been sourced, installed and commissioned by the channel partner and backhaul integration, commercial and billing services have been provided by BSNL.
In a statement, BSNL PRO Masood Bala said this is the first such OLTE integrated in the valley under this mode.
Customers wishing to avail ‘Bharat Fibre’ service may book their connection at any of the retail outlets of BSNL in Pulwama or in the office of MEERCELL COMMN.
BSNL intends to enter into such partnerships at all the district headquarters and even at Block HQ level. This kind of partnership will go a long way in providing lucrative business opportunities to the budding entrepreneurs and shall also lead to employment generation for the people in general.
Rana further informed that since the Bharat Fibre services are provided by leading the Optical fibre right up to the customer premises, reliable and high speed internet services can be provided to the customers. The services are not affected even during adverse weather conditions.
