Robbers on intervening night of Sunday and Monday struck at office of J&K Cable Car Corporation at famous Gulmarg Tourist resort and decamped with cash worth Rs 50 lakh.
JKCC operates the famous Gulmarg Gondola at the resort.
Managing Director JKCCC Muhammad Shamim, said Cash was keptin a locker and burglars struck at around 11.22 pm on Sunday.
“The CCTV footage in the premises shows moment of somepersons around the location. Police has taken the footage and started investigation,”said Muhammad Shamim, MD Cable Car Corporation Gulmarg.
“Since banks were closed on Saturday and Sunday that iswhy cash was lying in the locker of the JKCCC office at Gulmarg,” addedShamim Ahmad.
