A delegation of Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Kashmir called on Advisor to the Governor, Khurshid Ahmed Ganai, in his office on Monday.
According to an official spokesperson, the delegationbrought various issues related to the promotion of trade and industry in thenotice of the Advisor. They also raised demand for streamlining movement oftrucks on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway.
The Advisor assured the deputation of looking into theirdemands for proper redressal. He also urged the chamber to promote womenentrepreneurship, especially in horticulture and floriculture sectors andsuggested linkages with training institutes like JKEDI for proper hand-holdingof prospective entrepreneurs.
The delegation comprised President CCIK, GhulamMohiuddinKhan, President Goods & Transport Companies Association, MohammadSidiqRonga, Treasuer CCI, Kysar, besides members Showkat Ahmed and Bashir AhmedBeigh.
