Students of Chandigarh Group of Colleges(CGC) have secured 378 merit positions in the final examinations conducted by IK Gujral Punjab Technical University.
According to a statement of the group, the college haswitnessed a 23 percent surge from the last released merit list with 52 Goldpositions and 47 Silver positions along with 265 other merit positions. Thishas accounted for over 1000 PTU merit positions held by the students of CGCLandran till date. Out of which 98 are Gold, 106 silver and 86 Bronzepositions.
As many as 35 students from Hotel Management andBiotechnology scored 10 SGPA along with over 150 students who have broughtlaurels to the college by securing above 9 SGPA.
In order to encourage the bright students, CGC Landran hasintroduced an academic reward policy which guarantees cash prizes and Laptop tothe university position holders.
