Government on Thursday suspended cross-Line of Control trade via Poonch “due to safety reasons as there were apprehensions of cross border shelling”, officials said.
Custodian trade facilitation centre, Poonch, Fareed Kohli said the trade was kept suspended as a precautionary measure as some shells hit trade centre on Wedenesday.
To avert any such risk the trade was suspended. He further informed that some structures of trade centre received damage in Wednesday’s shelling.
