District Level Task Force Committee headed by Additional District Development Commissioner, Ramesh Chander today approved 97 entrepreneurship projects under Prime Minister Employment Generation Programme sponsored by District Industries Centre and Khadi Village Industries Board, Reasi.
The sanctioned projects included Xerox centre, shuttering,Vaishnodhaba, wooden furniture, services station, tailoring and preparation ofreadymade garment, welding units, sweet shops etc, an official handout said.
The committee screened and scrutinized 122 cases, of which,97 projects were selected for credit linkage through financial institutionsafter thorough analysis of viability of proposed projects and theentrepreneurial skills of the applicants.
Giving details, ADDC informed that cases from rural areaswith project cost uptoRs. 10 lakh under service sector and Rs. 25 lakh undermanufacturing sector have been recommended in the DLTFC. “These cases will beprocessed in a time bound manner for sanctioning of loan and each entrepreneurwill be facilitated and guided in setting up of unit”, he said.
All the beneficiaries have been directed to undergo EDPtraining at SBIRSETI Reasi.
