In order to enable unemployed educated youth to get selected in regional rural banks and other commercial banks, Ellaquai Dehati Bank in collaboration with IBPS Mumbai and Career Counseling Cell of GDC Boys, Anantnag organised two-weeks pre-examination training programme for aspirants.
The coaching for officers and office assistant posts commenced on Sunday at the GDC Boys, Anantnag.
The programme was inaugurated by the vice principal of the college in presence of Pir Javid Ahmad, Regional Manager Anantnag/Jammu Division and Mir Mohd Amin, Senior Manager HRD Ellaquai Dehati Bank.
Regional Manager EDB in his address informed the audience that RRBs functioning in J&K are facing huge manpower shortage and for filing up the vacant posts , IBPS has recently advertised recruitment of 12000 vacancies in RRBs including 144 vacancies available in EDB and JKGB.
He impressed upon the candidates to work hard and chalk out a result oriented strategy during the ongoing training programme for qualifying the upcoming IBPS examinations and assured them that EDB will continue to conduct such programmes in future.
