To commemorate, World Arbor Day, Grand Mumtaz Resorts, Pahalgam Tuesday held a plantation drive in and and to share the social responsibilities towards the society, a spokesperson of the hotel said.
“In previous years we have planted more than three hundred deodar plants in our Hotel premises. More than one thousand deodar plants have been planted in and around the resort premises to add more greenery to the surroundings,” said the spokesperson.
The plantation drive was started in close coordination with Lidder Forest Division Bijbehara. Mohd Iqbal Khanday Range officer of Pahalgam range and other forest Officials were also present during the drive.
