Hindustan Petroleum (HP) LPG bottling plant with the storage capacity of 3520 metric tonnes can maintain the cooking gas supply to Kashmir valley for 30 days, a statement issued by the country’s premier oil marketing company said.
“HPCL is the only petroleum company having its own LPGbottling Plant in Kashmir at Pampore, bottling LPG with brand name of HPGAS,”the statement said.
HP Gas supplies LPG and maintains sufficient stocks to areaswhich gets cut-off during winters like Gurez, Tangdar, Kargil and Leh.
The HP Gas is having approximately 12 lakh registered LPGconsumers in Kashmir valley with market share of about 65 percent in domesticsector.
“HP Gas is committed to serve its vast consumer base interms of safety at customer premises, delivering refills at doorsteps,increasing awareness among customers for safe use of LPG cylinders,” thestatement said.
For ensuring hassle-free delivery of LPG cylinders (refill),HP Gas has provided easy modes to consumers through which refill can be booked,it said.
