President of Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industries (KCCI) Sheikh Ashiq Ahmad on Monday talked to director Srinagar Airport regarding inconvenience caused to foreign tourists there at the time arrival.
According to a KCCI statement, the director informed Sheikh Ashiq Ahmad that cognizance had already been taken of the earlier representation of the chamber in this regard.
The director informed that a meeting had already been convened and necessary directions had been issued. Sheikh Ashiq Ahmad Informed the Director that the issue had also been taken up with the Director Tourism Department, Kashmir who was requested to provide equipments for simplification of foreign tourist registration process.
All the foreigners need to register themselves at Srinagar airport and other entry points, while arriving in Jammu and Kashmir.
