Indigo flyers flay airline for 'poor response'

The intending flyers told Greater Kashmir that their Srinagar-bound flight from New Delhi was cancelled twice in the past three days due to bad weather in the Valley.

A group of passengers Tuesday complained that Indigo airline didn’t inform them about flight cancellation in advance.

The intending flyers told Greater Kashmir that their Srinagar-bound flight from New Delhi was cancelled twice in the past three days due to bad weather in the Valley. But they complained that the airline officials didn’t inform them about the cancellations in advance though the cancellations were decided hours before the scheduled time.

“We were put to huge inconvenience twice, first on February 1 and now today. The company didn’t even send an SMS about flight delay or subsequent cancellations,” they said.

Despite repeated attempts, no Indigo official agreed to comment on the issue. “We can’t comment on the issue,” an official of the company from New Delhi told Greater Kashmir on phone.
