Later in the day, the chairman also inauguratedanewBusiness Unit (BU) at Gopalpora in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district and new refurbished premises of BU Nillow besides commissioning two Automated Teller Machines (ATM) at the respective places, bringing the people of the area into the fold financial inclusivity.
After the inauguration ceremony, the chairman interactedwith the customers of the area with whom, he said, shared a “deep emotionalconnect” and expounded the bank’s vision of bringing financial well-being andprosperity to every individual of the state and beyond. “The magnanimity thatthe people of the area have shown is unprecedented. It reiterates the faiththat people of the state have in the bank. They should take full advantage ofthe facilities provided by the bank and bring prosperity and empowerment toevery individual of the area which is the mission of J&K Bank”, hehighlighted. The bank, he added, will contribute towards preservations ofsocio-cultural heritage of the state and beyond as well. The people of the area expressed their gratitudetowards the management of the state’s premier financial institution and laudedthe chairman for “empowering” them financially and “promoting socio-economicdevelopment of the area” in addition to redressing the grievances on the spot.
