J&K Bank Chairman and MD R K Chhibber has sought feedback from customers in Ahmedabad about services, products and the functioning as a bank.
“For, I believe your valuable presence at such a shortnotice and on auspicious occasion of Holi underlines the strength of our relationshipthat I would like to get deeper and stronger with every passing day. And I dulyacknowledge and appreciate this gesture of belongingness and concern from allof you,” said Chhibber while presiding over a customer meet in Ahmedabad onMonday in presence of Vice-President and Zonal Head Mumbai Syed Shafat Hussain.
According to a statement, the CMD assured the participantsall the possible financial support in developing their existing andestablishing new business and urged them to help the bank garner more businessin Ahmedabad city.
“The situation in Jammu & Kashmir is normal. It is awonderful land of opportunities for businesses like yours and I would love toinvite you for making investments there”, said the Chairman while encouragingthem to freely communicate with the verticals and hierarchy of the Bank whichincludes office or person of the CMD itself.
CMD assured the participants of further improvement inservices besides looking for expansion of branch network where ever feasibleand viable. Regarding lowering of interest rates, he said that the bank has awell-defined risk based pricing mechanism in place which is in line with theindustry best practices and regulatory guidelines. However, the Bank iscontinuously focusing on improving its efficiency on “cost of funds” side andpassing it on to its customers in a transparent and swift manner.
Pertinently, the Bank is following RBI recommended MCLR andRLLR frameworks for pricing its loans in retail, MSE and corporate segments.
Earlier, at the outset of the meeting, the Zonal Head Mumbaithanked all the participants for accepting the invitation of the meet that toofor late hours in the evening on the festival day of Holi.
“This kind gesture of yours shall always be remembered andcherished for it is the best expression one can find of strong bonding betweena bank and its valuable clients” said the Zonal Head.
Thereafter, the Zonal Head introduced the bank’s Chairmanand MD R K Chhibber to the forum of the meeting which was attended andparticipated by valuable customers of Business Unit/s CG Road Ahmadabad andSatellite Colony, Ahmadabad besides all the staff members including Heads ofboth business Units.
Earlier during the day, the CMD had also visited bank’s twoBusiness units at Pariseema Complex C.G Road and Samaan Complex, Satellite AreaAhmedabad.
