J&K Bank dedicates ambulance to BGSBU

J&K Bank on Friday dedicated an ambulance to the Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU), Rajouri, under CSR to support student welfare in the varsity.

According to a bank statement, bank’s zonal head for Rajouri and Poonch Mohammad Shafi Salroo handed over the keys of the ambulance to the vice chancellor of the university Javed Mussarat in presence of administration faculty, senior bank officials, faculty members and a large gathering of students in a function held at the BGSBU campus. 

   

“The ambulance dedicated under CSR initiative by the bank shall be of immense help not only for the students and staff of the university but also for the locals hailing from this hilly area.

I have every hope that the relation with J&K Bank will touch new heights under the dynamic leadership of Parvez Ahmed Chairman and CEO J&K Bank who is very keen on fostering industry academia partnership in the state for the betterment of the society by harnessing intellectual capabilities,” said Mussart, while speaking on the occasion. 

J&K Bank’s zonal head said the bank as a premier flagship company of the state functions not only as a commercial institution, but as a responsible corporate citizen also understands its responsibility for upgradation of social infrastructure in the state. 

“The dedication of ambulance to BGSBU further emphasizes Bank’s continued commitment towards causes of social relevance,” he said.
